Sharwill Avocado performs best in the cooler, higher-altitude regions of India such as the Nilgiris, Kodaikanal, Coorg, Munnar, Meghalaya, and parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, where temperatures stay between 15°C and 28°C. It tolerates mild coastal climates but struggles with prolonged humid heat above 35°C and heavy monsoon waterlogging.
