Fruits at 7-8 years old, mature trees are likely freeze tolerant to the mid 20's.   The flavor profile is that of Sabara jaboticaba but with an aftertaste that hints at a floral bubblegum or even root beer if picked very ripe.  Taking down a freshly-picked bowl of these is an absolute pleasure and a fun change from the other more common jaboticabas which taste more similar to each other.  The pronounced crown at the sepal is stunning and varies dramatically in size - a real feather in mother nature's crown.   60%+ pulp by weight, bears a few times per year after 2-5 years of fruiting if kept irrigated and fertilized.  Needs daily watering and pH <7.5 either by water, soil, or amendments.  Perfect for container culture.
